OUR FAMILY

Our family loves spreading joy. My husband Lonn and I have been involved in our community for over 30 years. We have raised 5 kids here in the Southern part of Wisconsin and are now welcoming grandkids.

 

After three of our kid's weddings (and decorating many others), our reputation for a good time is starting to get out. We have hosted many birthday parties, sports team parties, bachelorette parties, bridal and baby showers, graduation and retirement parties, groundhog day festivities and many other community celebrations. Joy is what we want to share with the world.

 

Our family believes in celebrating every breath we take, every milestone and spreading as many smiles along the way as we can. Our glass is usually half full - or as my husband says, his sky is always blue.

 

FAMILY LEGACY

They say moms shape the world - and for us that is true. For those that know my mother-in-law Jeannie Hensler,  you know her reputation as the Birthday Queen to the community. Wherever there is a birthday, my mother-in-law is sure to be found pulling out a birthday candle and a  birthday hat to make someone's day special. On the other side of the family, my mom Joyce Grubbs, shaped who I am today as her parties for fundraisers, and school fun nights. Mom always set the bar for kid's parties. This later culminated into a party business to make people feel like VIP's. 

 

Joy is in our DNA and a family legacy that we would like to pass on.

 

PAYING IT FORWARD

After a brain surgery in late 2018, spreading joy became a renewed pursuit for us. Enjoying our lives has led us to wanting to pay that sentiment forward with our family and friends. If you would like to bring a SMILE to someone special - contact us at Miles of Smiles.
