100 Years of Perspective

I think the thing that amazes me about this business is the amazing people you get to meet when you go to decorate their yards. Barb had a wonderful family that organized a "Drive-by" for her 100th birthday. They had asked us to come decorate her yard with colors that would go with her beloved Mickey Mouse theme and yellow, bright and happy.

The amazing thing was the opportunity to decorate another 100 year old's yard just a couple weeks before. These opportunities stand out as real gems to us when you speak to their families. 100 years. Can you imagine what they've seen in their lifetimes? Both Barb and Dorothy had lived through World War 1, Spanish Flu, the collapse of the NYSE and the depression, World War II, Korean War, Vietnam War, the new Millennium and now the Coronavirus pandemic. How's that for a life well lived (and survived)?

It was our GREAT JOY to participate and add just a little joy to their lives - and smiles to their lips.

Sharing a century old celebration has new meaning to us. We pay tribute to the ladies of the century and say THANK YOU for the opportunity to be just a small part of your amazing accomplishment.
